Summer car care

By December 3, 0001May 12th, 2021Uncategorized

We all know how hot and irritated we can get in the heat and how we have to take care of our body, the same holds true for our cars. Every car insurance policy provides coverage for our cars if they are vandalized, stolen or in an accident but it is up to us to take care of the inner working of the car. You can elect to have roadside assistance on your auto insurance policy which will assist you with a flat tire, battery charges, being locked out and delivery of fuel. As a precaution, you should check your cars battery and keep it clean. The cooling system works harder in the heat and therefore the coolant should be changed yearly on most vehicles. Hoses and belts should be checked for any cracks. Your radiator should also be kept clean like the engine and battery as dirt and bugs build up in the hot weather. Your cars tires will also need some attention since the high temperatures put added stress on them. Be sure to check your cars windshield wiper fluid since the sun creates a fog on the windshield. These tips are intended to give you some suggestions to extend your cars performance in the summertime heat.
