It’s summer, and Lower Bucks County is ready for it! After more than a year of restrictions, cancellations, and closures, Yardley and its surrounding region are ready to enjoy fun in the sun once again. With vaccinations on the rise and case rates falling, businesses, event planners, and local residents are all ready to be social this summer in Yardley.

Regularly Scheduled Summer Fun in Yardley

The Yardley Farmers Market has been in full swing since the beginning of May, and it will continue to run weekly every Saturday from 9am to 12pm through November. Visit the market in Buttonwood Park to load up on veggies and other locally produced products!

Not a morning person? How about the Summer UnWined events at Shady Brook Farm? This fun summer music series takes place every Friday and Saturday, weather permitting, throughout the summer. Enjoy a relaxing evening with family, friends, or a special date while listening to great local music. Don’t forget about the food and beverages offered by Shady Brook as well as other vendors!

For the art lovers, AOY Art Center is running A Plein Air Celebration of Yardley & Newtown right now, and they also have a busy schedule of summer classes for all ages! Enjoy nature by creating art from what you see all around our beautiful region this summer.

Summer Events in Yardley

Who doesn’t love a summer car show? There’s just something about it that says community, and we all could use more community this summer. The Yardley VFW’s Classic & Antique Car Show is coming to Yardley on July 25, 2021. Whether you have a special car to show, or you just love coming to look, you won’t want to miss this great event.

Celebrate our nation’s independence at the Red, White & Blue BBQ Bash at Peddler’s Village this summer. Enjoy food, live music, activities for kids, and other entertainment on Saturday and Sunday of Independence Day Weekend.

Family Fun in the Sun Near Yardley

If you have kids, you’ll be happy to know that Sesame Place and Dorney Park are open for the season! It’s time for fun in the sun for the whole family with rides, waterworks, and more junk food than anyone needs. Check out each park’s website to find out how they’re doing safety this season, and plan your day of family fun!
